Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for designing, organizing, modifying and supporting the organization’s computer and server systems. The position is responsible for maintaining data center functions and achieving high performance of the various business applications by tuning the server environment as necessary. This includes ensuring the availability of client/server applications, configuring all new implementations and assisting to develop processes and procedures for ongoing management of the server environment.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
• Manages the server environment, both blade and rack mounted systems. Multiple operating systems and hardware types.
• Manages the SAN infrastructure.
• Serves as the Domain & Active Directory administrator.
• Manages all Microsoft licensing.
• Serves as a Microsoft 365 administrator.
• Manages the VMware hypervisor environment.
• Manages the Mobile Device Management program.
• Manages the Backup and Disaster Recovery program.
• Assists in managing the EDR program.
• Manages the IT Asset Management System.
• Provides Tier II Help Desk support.
• Manages the two Data Centers, including power distribution, generators and battery backup systems.
• Assist on the Server environment design, capacity and security planning.
• Oversee functionality and connectivity of all servers, including but not limited to e-mail, print,
file and backup servers and their associated operating systems and software.
• Assist the Network/Telecom Officer in the management of all network hardware and
equipment, including routers, switches, and UPS’s.
• Perform server and security audits; assist with system backups and recovery.
• Accurately document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal.
• Review Security reports daily.
• Provide guidance to other members of the team.
• Adhere to written bank policies and procedures as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education : High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED), Bachelor’s Degree or higher in
I.T. related field preferred but not required.
Experience : Two or more years of experience in System/Network Support environment preferred.
Computer Skills:
Excellent knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 desktop operating systems.
Working knowledge of Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 operating systems.
Working knowledge of VMware vCenter and vSphere environments
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products.
Network and Internet connectivity knowledge
Working knowledge of switch, router, firewall and wireless management
Support of PC peripherals, to include printers, scanners and USB devices.
Understanding of Malware prevention management.
Certificates & Licenses: Certifications a plus but not required.

Basic Qualifications
